ColorDynamics Wins Two Awards in 18th Annual
Gold Ink Awards Competition
Allen, Texas - ColorDynamics was awarded two
pewter awards from PrintMedia and Printing Impressions Annual
Gold Ink Awards. The Burberry Technical catalog has a simple
pattern embossed cover with beautifully printed Burberry watches
throughout the text. The Harley Davidson magazine insert for
its new Street Rod motorcycle makes use of ColorDynamics in-line
finishing with a “Z” fold, spot glue and a perf
forming a pullout insert that was completely finished in-line
on the web press. The piece also uses Staccato screening with
a bump conventional black for shape and detail in the shadow
areas.
This years Gold Ink Award winners were chosen from nearly
1,500 entries submitted within 50 different categories. Winning
pieces surpassed their competitors based on print quality,
quality of color separations, technical difficulty and overall
visual effect.
The Annual Gold Ink Awards Banquet, held to honor the winners
will take place Monday evening, September 12 at McCormick
Place in Chicago during PRINT ’05.
