ColorDynamics Adds New 10 Color Sheetfed Press Unique to the United States

Allen, TX –November 2006 ColorDynamics has installed a new Komori Lithrone LS series 10-color sheetfed press with two coating towers. This is the first Komori press in the United States with a true tower coater after the fifth unit for the best possible results when perfecting. The 28 3/8 X 40 9/16 maximum sheet size press will print conventional or UV inks. Paper up to 12-point thickness can perfect up to five colors plus coatings. In a straight configuration ten colors plus two coatings can run on stocks as heavy as 24 point. The auto plate hanging and closed loop color system complete the advanced technology on this unique press. ”With the advancements in automated make-ready and with perfecting run speeds as high as 11,000 sheets per hour, most jobs will be completed in half the time”. This will be a real time and cost saver to our customers”, says ColorDynamics President Chuck Chalifoux.
